Habitat for Humanity
On Wednesday, October 29, 2008, Christy and Cheri volunteered at a local Habitat build. They spent the afternoon painting the back of the house a bright sunny yellow. Cheri was able to capture Christy on a camera phone.
On Wednesday, November 5, 2008, Jerry and Gladys volunteered at another local Habitat build in the same community. Gladys spent the morning painting interior doors. Jerry worked on the porch railing.
The next morning on Thursday continued the work in that same house. Kim painted interior walls while Lester, Bill, and Christy painted the exterior of the house.
We are proud to say that we had 100% participation from all owners and staff for the Habitat for Humanity service project.
Kim took these working pictures on 11/6. The picture of the owner and her family was taken the day of the dedication. This is the owner of the house at which we spent the most time.

Girls Softball
In 2009 we are sponsoring one team in Franklin township
In 2008 we sponsored one team in Franklin Township and a girls travel team.
In 2007 we sponsored two teams in the Franklin Township Girls Softball League. Purple Ponies in the Sprites League and Orange Crush in the Pixies League. Lester, our Director of Marketing, was the "Team Grandpa."

We also were a sponsor of the 8U All-Stars A Team who did well post-season.

Youth Camp
We repaired all closers and installed silencers and kickdowns on all girls' dormitory doors at Laurel River Baptist Youth Camp in Corbin, KY.
